One of the most wholesome of american pastimes, and one of the most vile addictions wouldn’t seem like it would mesh well. But it is incredible how they are associated without a second thought.
The article talks about how baseball players were wary of cigarettes in the early days of baseball, and tended to use the smokeless tobacco. Which was also in fact one of the most popular of all of the available tobacco products of the time.
