You’re not addicted to dip, chew, snuff, snus, cigars, cigarettes or NRT’s [nicotine replacement therapies]. You’re addicted to the nicotine found in all of them. Would you give an addict of any other substance just a little bit of that substance to ease the discomfort of withdrawal? Unless it could harm or kill, as in the case of some serious hardcore drug addictions, the answer is no.
